Network raised floor Need to pay attention to the following aspects in the later installation:

Inspection and acceptance

Flatness check

Use a level to check the flatness of the installed raised floor. The flatness error of the entire floor surface should meet the relevant standards, generally requiring that the height difference between adjacent plates does not exceed 0.5mm, and the height difference between any two plates does not exceed 2mm. If it is found that the flatness does not meet the requirements, it may affect the placement of the equipment and the walking safety of personnel, and you need to adjust it in time.

Check the floor for local depressions or bumps, especially in the stitching and edges of the floor. For slight unevenness, it can be corrected by adjusting the support foot under the floor; If the problem is more serious, you may need to reinstall some of the floor.

Stability check

Check the stability of the floor to ensure that there is no shaking or displacement after people walk and equipment is placed. It can be tested by simulating the way people walk and equipment moves on the floor. If the floor is shaking, check whether the support system is firmly installed, whether the support feet are properly adjusted, or whether the connection between the floors is tight.

Check whether the connection between the floor and the surrounding walls, columns and other fixed structures is stable. If there are gaps or connections that are not tight, it may be necessary to use sealant or other fixing materials to prevent dust and debris from entering the space below the floor, while also enhancing the overall stability of the floor.

Electrical performance check (if applicable)

For the network raised floor with the electrical wiring function, check the electrical insulation performance and grounding of the floor. Use an insulation resistance meter to measure the insulation resistance of the floor to ensure that it meets the design requirements. Generally, the insulation resistance is not less than a certain value (such as 100MΩ) to prevent leakage accidents.

Check whether the grounding system of the floor is effective, and the grounding resistance should meet the safety standard (usually no more than 10Ω). Properly grounded, static electricity or leakage current can be imported to the ground in a timely manner, ensuring the safety of equipment and personnel. At the same time, check whether electrical components such as sockets and interfaces on the floor can work normally and whether the connection is firm.

2. Cleaning and maintenance

Surface cleaning

Clean the surface of the raised floor regularly to keep it clean and beautiful. You can use a clean mop or vacuum cleaner to remove dust, paper and other debris from the floor surface. For stubborn stains, special floor cleaners can be used to wipe, but be careful to avoid using cleaners containing corrosive ingredients, so as not to damage the coating on the floor surface.

During the cleaning process, avoid scratching the floor surface with sharp tools. If liquid is spilled on the floor, clean it up in time to prevent liquid from penetrating under the floor, affecting the performance of the floor or damaging the equipment and wiring under the floor.

Underfloor space maintenance

Since the space below the network raised floor is used for functions such as wiring and ventilation, it needs to be inspected and maintained regularly. First of all, ensure that the space below the floor is clean to prevent dust and debris accumulation from affecting the ventilation effect or damaging the line. A small cleaning device, such as a hand-held vacuum cleaner, can be used to clean the underside of the floor.

Check whether the cables under the floor are damaged, aged, or loose. If the line problem is found, professional electrical technicians should be notified in time for maintenance. At the same time, it is also necessary to check whether the ventilation pipe is smooth and whether the support structure is damaged to ensure the normal function of the space below the floor.

Three, use precautions

Load limit

Specify the carrying capacity of the raised floor and inform the user. Different types and specifications of the network raised floor carrying capacity is different, generally will be clearly marked in the product manual. During use, it is necessary to avoid overweight equipment or too many personnel concentrated in a certain area, so as to avoid exceeding the bearing limit of the floor, resulting in deformation or damage to the floor.

If heavy devices, such as large server cabinets, need to be placed, evaluate the bearing capacity of the floor in advance, and take corresponding measures, such as adding supporting points or using special bearing supports.

Prevent foreign bodies from entering

In daily use, it is necessary to prevent small foreign objects (such as screws, gaskets, etc.) from falling into the floor through the gaps in the floor. These foreign objects may damage lines or equipment under the floor and affect the normal operation of the network system. A barrier or screen can be placed at the entrance to the floor or in the equipment installation area to reduce the possibility of foreign objects entering.

For construction operations such as drilling and cutting on the floor, protective measures should be taken in advance, such as using sealed bags to collect debris, and cleaning the site in time after the completion of construction to ensure that no foreign matter remains.

4. Environmental control

Temperature and Humidity control

Keep the ambient temperature and humidity in the area where the raised floor is installed stable. Too high or too low temperature and humidity may affect the performance and service life of the floor, but also have an adverse effect on the equipment and wiring underneath the floor. It is generally recommended that the temperature be controlled at 18-27 ° C and the relative humidity be controlled between 40%-60%.

The ambient temperature and humidity can be controlled by installing air conditioning systems and humidity regulating devices. In areas with high humidity, pay attention to prevent the floor from getting damp, you can place desiccant under the floor or use dehumidification equipment; In a dry environment, to prevent static electricity, you can take humidification measures or use products such as anti-static floor wax.

Ventilation management

Ensure that there is good ventilation under the floor, which is very important for heat dissipation and keeping the air circulating. Regularly check that vents and ventilation ducts are unblocked to avoid clogging. If the ventilation is poor, the temperature under the floor may be too high, which affects the normal operation of the device and even causes a fire.

If necessary, ventilation devices (such as small fans) can be installed under the floor to enhance the ventilation effect. At the same time, it is necessary to reasonably plan the layout of the equipment to avoid too dense equipment and affect ventilation.
